Stay safe and don't give up

 Hi Everyone, I hadn't written in a while and I thought maybe I should write something here today. Coco and I Last year in 2020, we faced the pandemic and survived. I couldn't keep any art exhibitions. Although we lived close to our relatives, we couldn't see each other. It got much scarier when our street was sealed. My only worry at that time was " If my parents and I pass away with covid, who will take care of Coco?". Yes, Coco is my wonderful pug who saved my life by coming in a box into our home on 01 September 2018. I had become very fragile or vulnerable after a difficult time...broken to be exact. Coco made me feel like I should be alive and everything would be alright. Life hasn't been easy but definitely has been better than the past 10 years of my life. Winner

Everybody is a "winner" in their lives, in one way or the other. The people who call others as "losers" say that with only one intention and that is to bring down others confidence. So, it is very important for everybody not to pay attention to such absurd sayings. These people who call others as "losers" can only be termed as cowards. Reminiscence: My petite friend

1997 was a year of catastrophes for me.  I had already lost my paternal grandma in 96 and I lost my maternal grandpa in 97. I didn't know what was happening. My uncle was kind enough to understand  my mother's and my grief, so we left to my uncle's in October. The memory is still fresh in my mind. When my uncle's family picked us at the airport I was introduced to a petite and affectionate Bichaun Fris é   called "Raja". He jumped on me, licked my hands and feet, sat on my lap and licked my face. He brought a big smile on my face. We both just couldn't live without each other. Raja would curl up and sleep near my feet on bed. If he was not allowed to be on bed, I would sleep on the floor and he would sleep near my head. Me with Raja I gave him a gift I had bought for myself at the airport, orange truffles. It was his favorite and he always finished the entire pack. He had his own routine. We all know very well that we're living in the twenty first century. There has been a lot of changes over the time, a change in Indian civilisation but yet why can't we be cautious of where we are heading and how we can sculpt our life. Whether educated or uneducated women, it is so easy for people to clown women even in this century by taking marriage as a subject. Arranged marriage is always a preferred option to most of the Indian families. Fear

Two days ago, I was standing in a long serpentine queue in the bank and was getting a little frustrated. Two women in their thirties were standing behind me and their chit chatting entertained me for a while. Few minutes later, I saw a poster on the wall near the last counter that read "what did you leave behind in 2011?" well it was regarding a charity work, the name which I apparently forgot...but I couldn't stop thinking about that question. What did I leave behind in 2011? On my way back home it occurred to me that I left behind fear in 2011! Fear of open and honest communication, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of judgement, fear of being wrong, fear of being victimised, fear of insult...Fear can be so destructive and to be honest I'm sick of it.
