Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. The two words commitment and excellence are always there in one's life. What does it mean to be committed? We often set goals and we say that we are going to do something and then let our circumstances run us... but whatever we plan to happen will never happen, it will never get done, and those beautiful dreams slip further and out of our reach until we start thinking they are never going to happen and give up and give ourselves an excuse that we tried. Being COMMITTED means something which is completely different. No matter how much tired or pressed we are and whatever the circumstance is, we should always make up our mind to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to accomplish our goals, may it be a simple matter or visions for the world. All that is required is dedication and discipline to move mountains in our lives. Because all the dreams we have had since childhood or the dreams we envisioned later in life will not happen simply by living in our comfort zones. For it to happen, we need to roll up our sleeves and be willing to get messy. It will be possibly a failure sometimes, but then just get right back up and try again and again. There cannot be any sort of failures when you are committed. Well, what is our relationship to failure? what holds us back? I know for myself, when I faced failure I would beat myself up for days and avoid it. But it didn't help for sure. By doing that we can never realise our goals. Like they say, you can learn a lot from your failures.
Finally what it takes to stay committed is to tell yourself "yes! this is what I want and this is how I see it so I'm going to do it and there's no looking back!"
